Daily Camino Spanish. A 4-week challenge for beginners to get your Spanish ready for the Camino

Can you learn Spanish in just 10 minutes a day?

YES*

You’re getting ready for the Camino de Santiago but there’s something bothering you:

you don’t speak Spanish… or not enough to get by.

✅ You want to be respectful to your hosts.

✅ You want to be independent too.

❌ You’ve tried some popular apps, but you don’t really need to know how to say “he is a slow bear” or “my duck has a dog”.

You’d rather learn how to order food, ask for help and connect with the locals.

Can you learn what you need before you go?

The answer is YES.

*You’ll have to stay consistent. But yes, it’s possible.

You’ll be surprised how much Spanish you can learn if you spend as little as 10 minutes a day. The key is to keep at it. Be consistent. Creating the habit can be hard.

Some popular apps are good at that… but they fail at giving you the language you will need.

One daily activity.

Four weeks of real progress.

Zero overwhelm.

Let’s do this!

Hola, soy María

I’m a Spanish teacher who lives on the Camino Portugués.

When I’m not walking the Camino, I help other pilgrims learn the Spanish they need for their walk across Spain on the Camino de Santiago.

I believe that walking into a café, joining a local festival and chatting with people, understanding what’s going on, feeling connected… will help you enjoy a richer, more meaningful Camino.

That’s why I help you learn the Spanish language and culture you need to make the Camino a truly transforming experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need any Spanish knowledge to join?

No! This challenge is designed for complete beginners. If you’ve never studied Spanish before or you just know a few words, you’re in the right place.

How long does each activity take?

Each activity is short and focused—most take around 10 minutes a day, less if you already know a little bit of Spanish. It’s all about building a habit without overwhelm.

When does the challenge start?

The day after you sign up. But there’s a couple of activities waiting for you already, so you can start warming up.

Will this make me fluent in Spanish?

No, and that’s not the goal. The challenge is focused on helping you speak and understand essential Spanish specific to the Camino, so you can feel confident, independent, and connected.

What if my Camino isn’t for a few months?

That’s totally fine! The course content will still be there after the 4 weeks, so you can do the challenge now to start building your skills and revisit the materials again closer to your departure.

What if I miss a day or fall behind?

No worries at all. The course does not disappear at the end of the month. You’ll have access to the materials for as long as the course remains available online.
