A Spanish membership that focuses on your Camino needs

Imagine you’re on the Camino.

You stop at a café for second breakfast and join the queue at the bar to place your order.

A person in front of you is struggling to make themselves understood.

They’re getting more and more frustrated. You know what that’s like. You’ve been there too.

So, what do they do?

They shout their order louder and louder. Because, as everyone knows, if someone shouts very loud at you in a language you don’t know, you magically understand, right?

I don’t think so.

And neither do you.

I’m guessing you don’t want to be the loud pilgrim who spends most of their Camino feeling frustrated and shouting at Spaniards. You actually feel embarrassed watching them because you know this is NOT the way to communicate or connect.

Something else you don’t want: feel nervous to ask for help in case nobody speaks English; feel anxious that someone talks to you and all you can do is stare blankly at them because you don’t understand a word.

I know you’d rather…

Spanish pronunciation masterclass Feel relaxed and independent. No need to find people who can translate for you. Your phone’s battery died? No problem! You can do a better job than Google Translate!

Spanish pronunciation masterclass Be respectful, get a better response from people and connect more. The locals will go out of their way to help you when they see you’re making the effort to speak Spanish. It doesn’t matter how limited your Spanish is. It’s the effort that counts.

Spanish pronunciation masterclassHelp someone else communicate when they need. You’ve just become a Camino angel!

Camino family

By making the effort to speak even only a few words of Spanish, you’re giving yourself wonderful opportunities to enrich your Camino experience. From knowing what’s going on around you, to being able to communicate your needs, connecting with the locals, expanding your horizons…

So, don’t be like that loud pilgrim, ¡por favor! Be a respectful and caring pilgrim instead.

Start preparing now for your next Camino.

Taking your classes gave me the confidence to try to communicate without worrying about being perfect. It showed me areas where I was weak… and also how to prioritize what areas to improve on in order to do well on the Camino. Having Camino-focused conversations kept the classes interesting and relevant. I also appreciate the way you turned me on to additional resources.

Jenny

You will learn how to construct basic questions and responses that have a practical use on the Camino and also cultural tips that give you an insight into the Spanish way of life.

F.

Before I joined the course I was afraid I would sound terrible and I wouldn’t be able to put sentences together. Maria is understanding, patient, so knowledgeable and gave so many good tips for my Camino. My few Spanish lesson helped me sooo much! I felt like I could communicate, order meals, and so many other good things like all your tips about the culture.
