Spanish for the Camino – Terms & Conditions

By purchasing or booking any service offered by Spanish for the Camino, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. General Terms (Applicable to All Services)

1.1 Communication

If you have any questions, need to cancel or reschedule (where permitted), or experience any issues, please contact:

Requests relating to cancellations, refunds, or enrolment changes must be submitted in writing.

1.2 Technical Requirements

You are responsible for having a stable internet connection and suitable equipment to access online lessons and course materials.

Spanish for the Camino is not responsible for technical issues on the student’s side (including internet connection problems, microphone issues, device problems, etc.).

If technical issues on the teacher’s side prevent the delivery of a lesson or session, the lesson will be rescheduled at no extra cost.

1.3 Conduct

Respectful behaviour is expected at all times.

Insults, hate speech, abusive conduct, or disruptive behaviour may result in cancellation of access to lessons, classes, memberships, or remaining sessions without refund.

1.4 Recording Policy

Some online lessons and live sessions may be recorded and shared exclusively with enrolled students as a learning resource.

Availability of recordings may be limited in time depending on the service.

2. 1:1 Lessons (Including On-Demand Sessions & Lesson Packages)

2.1 Booking & Payment

On-demand sessions are confirmed only once full payment has been received.

Payments are processed securely through Stripe.

2.2 Lesson Duration

Each lesson lasts 60 minutes.

Lessons begin and end at the scheduled time.

If you arrive late, the lesson will still finish at the originally scheduled time.

2.3 Lesson Packages

10-lesson packages must be used within 6 months of purchase.
5-lesson packages must be used within 3 months of purchase.

Unused sessions expire after this period.

2.4 Cancellations & Refunds

Individual 1:1 sessions may be cancelled up to 24 hours before the originally booked time.

If cancelled within this timeframe:

the session may be rescheduled at no additional cost; or
where applicable, a refund may be issued subject to a €15 cancellation fee.

After the 24-hour deadline:

sessions become non-refundable;
rescheduling is not available except under exceptional circumstances at the teacher’s discretion.

No refunds will be given for lessons not attended.

2.5 Rescheduling

Sessions may be rescheduled only once and only if requested at least 24 hours before the originally booked time.

2.6 Delays & No-Shows

If you are more than 15 minutes late, the lesson will be considered cancelled and no refund or rescheduling will be offered.

No-shows are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.

3. Group Classes

3.1 Attendance

Please arrive on time to minimise disruption.

If all participants are late, the teacher will wait a maximum of 15 minutes.

After 15 minutes, the class will be cancelled.

No refund or rescheduling will be offered in these circumstances.

3.2 Cancellations & Refunds

Requests to cancel enrolment and receive a refund must be submitted in writing at least 24 hours before the course begins.

Approved refunds are subject to a €15 cancellation fee.

No refunds will be given for classes not attended.

3.3 Rescheduling

Group sessions may only be rescheduled if all participants agree.

4. Membership

4.1 Membership Contents

The membership includes:

2 live Zoom sessions per month per level (60 minutes each)
1 15-minute individual session per month for members of more than 3 months

4.2 Scheduling

Dates and times for Zoom sessions will be announced in advance inside the membership area and by email.

Additional sessions or schedule changes may be offered if there is sufficient interest.

4.3 Recordings

Zoom sessions may be recorded and made available to members for a limited period.

4.4 Subscription & Billing

Membership is ongoing and has no minimum commitment period.

Payments are processed through Stripe.

Subscriptions renew automatically each month using the original payment method unless cancelled.

You may cancel your membership at any time.

After cancellation, access to future membership content will end.

4.5 Refunds

Membership payments are non-refundable.

Because most content is immediately available and downloadable, refunds are not offered.

5. (More) Daily Camino Spanish

5.1 Course Structure

As part of (More) Daily Camino Spanish, you will receive:

1 new activity per day
for 4 weeks
following a rhythm of 5 activity days and 2 rest days per week

This includes a total of 20 lessons/activities.

5.2 Access

You will not receive daily reminders to complete activities.

You may log into the course platform at any time to access the contents.

You will retain access to the course for as long as:

Spanish for the Camino continues operating; and
the course platform remains available.

5.3 Audio Feedback

Audio submissions will receive a response within 24 hours, Monday to Friday.
